From hendrik.hoeth at cern.ch Sat Jun 21 23:47:13 2008 From: hendrik.hoeth at cern.ch (Hendrik Hoeth) Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2008 23:47:13 +0200 Subject: [Kflog-user] WELT2000 support, flight evaluation improvements Message-ID: <20080621214713.GF3467@mail.physik.uni-wuppertal.de> Hi, I've committed a couple of changes to the kflog svn-repository: - improvements of the flight evaluation (that's a nice patch from Constantijn Neeteson), more detailed statistics. - WELT2000 support: KFLog does not use the old-style airfield files anymore! It now expects a "welt2000.txt" file in the airfields directory. In the configuration dialog you find a new section "Airfields" to apply country filters or specify a radius around your home site within which the WELT2000 file should be imported. KFLog also supports a "welt2000.conf" file in the airfields directory which works exactly like in cumulus. - changed directory structure: KFLog now uses the same mapdata directory structure as cumulus, i.e. .../mapdata/landscape/ -> terrain data .../mapdata/airfields/ -> airfield data (welt2000.txt) .../mapdata/airspaces/ -> airspace data (openair files) Note that the terrain data has moved to a "landscape" subdirectory and the former "airspace" directory has got a trailing "s". - improved support for the Cambridge 302 vario (if anybody else is interested ...). Please test this version. I plan to turn this into a new release and appreciate any kind of feedback! Cheers, Hendrik PS: If someone is artistically talented, he/she is very welcome to improve the kflog/hi48-mimetype-airfield.png icon. ;-) -- Those who give up essential liberties for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -- Benjamin Franklin
