That's an issue of your window manager (probably kwin, i.e. KDE?). If
you are using KDE, look at "Control Center" -> "Desktop" -> "Window
Behaviour" -> "Advanced" -> "Focus stealing prevention level".

This is a known bug (see my mail to kflog-devel dated 21 Mar 2009):
>> 2) There are three bugs I'd like to fix before making a new KFLog
>> - Editing a waypoint while keeping the name (e.g. changing the
>> coordinates, clicking "ok", clicking "overwrite" when the
>> warning that the waypoint exists opens) yields a segfault.

>> - Open kflog. Choose from menu "Flight -> Show Evaluation
>> Window" so that there is a tab with the flight evaluation. Go
>> back to the map tab and close kflog. Open kflog again (map is
>> shown), load an igc file, go to the evaluation tab. The
>> barogram has the wrong size. Resizing the window fixes that.
>> - Open kflog, open a flight evaluation or waypoint tab, go to
>> that tab. Close kflog. Open kflog again (the previously
>> selected tab should be open now). Load an igc file. Now go to
>> the map window. You'll see that the map is zoomed waaaaay out
>> (a local flight in Chicago will show all of Canada and USA, a
>> local flight in Germany will give you whole Europe) and of
>> course KFLog starts downloading all the missing map files.
If you have a fix for one of those, I'd really appreciate that!
