Hi list,
the season on the northern hemisphere is nearly finished but today I
released the Cumulus package 2.5.0. It contains different bug fixes and
also some new added features. The important fixes are a memory leak in
ListViewFilters and the null pointer usage in ReachableListView which
caused a core dump.
A new option /Projection follows home/ has been added to the map
settings page. This option is only available for Plate Carree (cylinder)
projection. This projection is the default of Cumulus. If this option is
active and the user sets a new home site, the projection latitude is
also updated. That all triggers a recomputing of map data projections.
The result should be a better display of the map in the assumption that
the user is flying around his home site. Furthermore the projection
latitude must not be set by hand as before. Note that the earth is
projected to a flat map and the best unskewed results are only to see in
the near of the projection latitude.
Another change concerns the shortkey H. It related action has been
changed. This shortkey now navigates to the home site. Pressing it sets
the course line from the current position to the home position. Also the
shortcut key SHIFT+H action has been changed. Pressing it moves the
current position to the home site but only in manual mode.
The new package for the Internet Tablets N800/N810 is to find here:
