Hi Axel,
I installed the release on my brand new N810 without problems. First I flashed the device with the newest 2008 Maemo release. All lookes fine so far.
That means, I seem to have problems to get a GPS fix. The device is set to /dev/pts/0, 4800bps. Sometimes it shows some satellite signals, but never in the green range. Are there some tricks?
Two observations: the font size of most menu entries is rather small. This should be easy to adjust.
The TFT screen is difficult to read in sunlight. Does someone know a good filter to reduce reflections?
Regards
Eggert

Hi list,
there is a new cumulus package revision 2.0.7 on the download area
available.
http://www.kflog.org/fileadmin/user_upload/cumulus_snapshots/cumulus_2.0.7_armel.deb
What is new?
a) Hendrik did two bugfixes in the openair parser. To get the
modifications running you must remove all compiled openair files or
touch the related sources. That will recompile the sources at the next
run of cumulus.
b) The Qt libraries of the cumulus package will not more installed in
/usr/lib to avoid conflicts with the new Maemo Qt libraries. Cumulus
will use atm its own Qt libraries now in a way, that should not
influence other installed programs using Maemo Qt libraries.
Have fun with cumulus, feedbacks would also be welcome ...
greetings Axel
